Fee is determined by the hired candidate's first-year cash compensation (base plus target bonus). Equity and long-term incentives are not included in the OTE calculation. For non-standard engagements (rush, confidential replacement, international candidates, multi-role), we quote separately and still in a single fixed number.

Questions We Get

How does your fee compare to firms that bill hourly?

Hourly firms often quote an average, something like 12% of OTE, based on past searches. The word to watch is "average." A straightforward search might come in under that number. A complex one can run well over it, and the client pays every hour regardless. Our fee is fixed the day you sign. Whatever the search takes us, the number on your invoice does not change.

How is my search's tier determined?

By the hired candidate's first-year cash compensation (base plus target bonus). A $180K OTE hire prices at the $150K to $275K tier. A $300K OTE hire prices at the $275K to $425K tier. Equity and long-term incentives don't count toward the OTE calculation. Title doesn't either.

What if the search turns out to be unusually complex?

For non-standard engagements, such as rush timelines, confidential replacements, international candidates, or multi-role builds, we quote separately. The quote is still a single fixed number, agreed before we start. Fixed always means fixed.

Why is your pricing published when most firms hide theirs?

Because transparency is the whole point. A model that claims to be fair but keeps the number hidden isn't fair, it's negotiable. We'd rather have the conversation start with the number on the table.

What happens if the placement doesn't work out?

If a candidate we placed leaves or is terminated for performance reasons within 90 days of their start date, we run the replacement search at no additional fee. Same tier, same process, same portal. The guarantee is on start date, not sign date, which is the industry standard.
